Sourdough Starter Kits and Active Sourdough Starter
We make the art of sourdough baking easy and fun with our sourdough starter kits. Perfect for beginners or seasoned bakers, our kits come with everything you need to maintain an active sourdough starter for baking delicious sourdough recipes right at home.
Choose from either a dehydrated starter that you activate when you’re ready, or active starter that is ready to use. Each kit includes:
- our very active and mature starter, Mabel, either dehydrated and ready to be activated or a jar that is ready to be fed and used immediately
- 32oz glass mason jar, the perfect size and shape for maintaining your starter
- plastic lid for easy cleaning and breathability
- rubber band to easily keep track of your starter’s volume
- silicone spatula
- easy to follow printed instructions, as well as detailed online instructions with photos and tips
Starter Kits are $18 and include your choice of active or dehydrated starter. Kits may also be purchase online and shipped for $12 (shipping cost increases with additional jars).
You can also purchase the starter without the kit. Dehydrated starter is $8 per 10g envelope, and our active starter is $10 for a jar of 100g.
Starter is available for pre-order and pickup at the Buechel Train Depot Farmer’s Market and Henry County Farmer’s Market on select days, or the dehydrated starter can be shipped for $4.
Nature-Inspired Resin Jewelry
Explore one-of-a-kind handmade jewelry made with real dried flowers, leaves, mushrooms, moss, and gemstones, all preserved in a clear resin. Every piece by The Purple Fern is designed with care and captures a tiny glimpse into the natural world that you can take with you wherever you go.
Necklaces are generally $18-$24 each. You can shop our collection in person at Art @ 106 in New Castle, KY, as well as at various upcoming vendor fairs and farmer’s markets. We can also ship for $4, with free shipping when you purchase 2 or more.
Homemade Hot Pepper Items
We bring the heat from our home garden to your table, growing a variety of peppers and turning them into bold, flavorful products. Our homegrown peppers are the heart of everything we make at Blazin’ Throne, and right now, we’re excited to offer our signature jalapeno pepper jelly, a perfect blend of flavors that will add a unique kick to your favorite dishes.
Our current stock of pepper jelly was canned in May 2025, in our microprocessor certified kitchen. Canned pepper jelly is good for a year unopened, 4 weeks refrigerated after opening, or you can freeze leftovers for up to 6 months.
Pepper jelly is $5 per 4 oz jar. Due to state regulations, we cannot sell our pepper jelly online and ship. However, you can place a pre-order for local pickup at the Buechel Train Depot Farmer’s Market, or find it at various upcoming farmer’s markets and vendor fairs.

Vintage Mug Planters
Bring a touch of greenery and nostalgia into your home with our mug planters. Each mug is thoughtfully thrifted and paired with the perfect plant to compliment it’s unique charm.
Details:
- $10 for small mugs with single plants
- $12 for medium mugs with large or multiple plants
- $15 for large mugs with large or multiple plants
- $18 for jumbo mugs, teapots, or planters with large or multiple plants
Please note, each mug has a hole drilled in the bottom for drainage. Mug planters are available for pre-order at the Buechel Train Depot Farmer’s Market or various other upcoming markets and vendor fairs. The inventory changes frequently!
Custom Diaper Cakes
Looking for the perfect gift for a baby shower or for new parents? Our custom diaper cakes are designed to fit your budget and match your chosen theme, colors, and style!
Details:
- 2-Tier Diaper Cake (approx. 25-30 diapers): Starting at $45
- 3-Tier Diaper Cake (approx. 55-60 diapers): Starting at $75
Each cake is handmade with quality materials and attention to detail. Match a baby shower or nursery with themes such as woodland animals, sports, prince/princess, space, dinosaurs, floral, etc. or specify a color combination.
All cakes are made with size 1 diapers. The base prices given include the diapers, and decorations such as ribbon and bows, and themed items such as fake flowers to tie the theme together. Items such as stuffed animals, bottles of baby products, clothing, blankets, etc. can be added for an additional cost. When you place your order, we will discuss your specific ideas and budget for a final quote.
All diaper cakes are placed on a cardboard cake circle for stability, and wrapped in tulle, with a blank gift tag attached if needed.
Diaper cakes are available for local pickup in Jeffersontown, KY. We will meet at an agreed upon location or you can pick it up from an upcoming farmer’s market or vendor fair.

Simmering Potpourri
Fill your home with the cozy, inviting scents of the season with our simmering potpourri mixes. Each blend is thoughtfully crafted with all-natural ingredients by hand, making every bag slightly unique.
Our simmering potpourri blends are available on a limited seasonal basis. To use, simply simmer the mix in water on your stovetop and enjoy the comforting, warm smells.
Each simmering potpourri mix is $8. They are available for pre-order and pickup from the Buechel Train Depot Farmer’s Market, or various upcoming markets and vendor fairs. We can also ship for $5+.
