If you’re ready to begin baking your own delicious sourdough bread, you’re in the right place. Our sourdough starter kit comes with everything you will need to establish and maintain an active starter, one of the key ingredients in sourdough bread.
Each kit includes:
- Our active starter, Mabel, either dehydrated and ready to be re-activated whenever you’re ready, or active and ready to bake with.
- 32oz. glass jar and easy to clean plastic lid
- Silicone spatula
- A band to keep track of your starter’s volume
- A printed version of our instructions, for easy reference, as well as online instructions

Our Sourdough Starter Kits are $18 each and available for local pickup in Jeffersontown, KY, at various upcoming farmers markets and vendor fairs, and kits with dried starter can be ordered online and shipped anywhere within the US for $12.
